Rebuilding Lives, Ending Homelessness

Volunteer Opportunities

One of our greatest strengths is the constant support of our dedicated volunteers. At Hamilton Family Center, people from all walks of life come together to help families in need become self-sufficient.

We have volunteer opportunities at all our sites from playing and laughing with toddlers to tutoring school-aged children and helping them with their homework, or teaching teens and adults on computer skills, including how to use the internet for job searches to name only a few of the many ways our volunteers help our organization and the families we serve.

We’re also always looking for volunteers with skills in fine arts, crafts, dance, music, graphic design, event planning, writing, and more.

Volunteer assignments that involve working directly with families and youth in our programs require a minimum commitment of one hour a week for six months. However, one-time and short-term community service projects also come up occasionally but are not always available.

Volunteer with a Group

We also welcome you to volunteer along with friends, co-workers, classmates, or fellow members from your place of worship. We’ll work with your group to find a project that best fits your needs.
