The Board of Directors, Staff, and Community of Hamilton Family Center are grateful for the following sponsors and donors who have been our partners in our work towards eliminating poverty and homelessness for families in San Francisco during the past year.

Financial Donor Spotlight

Ed EislerWhen Dr. Ed Eisler, an anesthesiologist at California Pacific Medical Center,  provided excellent service to a patient, he received praise and gratitude from his patient. He also received a check for $50,000 to be given to a charity of his choice in his name. To help make his choice from many options, worthy nonprofits that matched his values and interests, Ed asked his daughters for some input. Students at the Hamlin School, they had volunteered recently at Hamilton Family Center to serve a meal to homeless families. Seeing his daughters engaged in civic activity helped Dr. Eisler to make his decision, and he gave the entire amount to Hamilton Family Center to be used to house homeless families. This is the story of many extraordinary individuals, whose actions worked together to improve the lives of homeless families in San Francisco. Thank you, Dr. Eisler!

Marsha Sanders

Need someone to run a gift drive to provide 300 children with toys for the holidays? Call Marsha! Need someone to run a drive for school supplies so that homeless kids can return to school with the tools they need? Call Marsha! Marsha Sanders, who runs the Cosmetics Department at Bloomingdale’s in the Westfield Center, is a boundless source of energy and ideas. Her warm heart and her collaborative spirit encourage and inspire her employees and vendors to donate to many different charitable causes throughout the year. Hamilton Family Center is lucky to count Marsha as a friend, for she has provided toys for homeless children for the past four years. In addition, Marsha and her team have contributed bags of beauty supplies to deserving moms on Mothers Day, backpacks full of supplies for our Back To School Campaign, and many other events over the years. We’re grateful for the support we receive from Marsha and her team at Bloomingdale’s.
